QC & inspection engineering, held to standard.

We review the documents your project lives or dies by — NDE procedures, ITPs, technical queries — against the codes they're supposed to meet, before a third party finds the gap.

Scope of Work

Engineering assurance for projects that don't get a second inspection.

We work alongside contractors and operators to keep documentation, procedures, and inspection findings aligned with project specifications from the outset — not caught in review.

Thamam Global Engineering LLC provides quality control and inspection engineering support across offshore and onshore energy projects, with particular depth in NDE procedure development, Inspection & Test Plan (ITP) review, and technical query resolution.

Our work sits at the point where field inspection meets code compliance — reviewing NDE procedures such as LPI and UT against applicable ADNOC and international standards, identifying gaps before they become findings, and drafting technically sound responses to project queries.

We support both contractor-side documentation teams and project QC functions, bringing a working familiarity with ADNOC's AGES-series specifications alongside ASME, API, and ASTM code frameworks.

Services

Four areas, one review standard.

Each engagement is scoped around a specific deliverable — a procedure, a plan, a query response — reviewed against the codes that govern it.

01

NDE Procedure Review

Gap analysis of LPI, UT, and related NDE procedures against ADNOC AGES specifications and international code requirements.

Scope: procedure qualification, acceptance criteria, technique sheets
02

ITP Development & Review

Compliance and internal-consistency review of Inspection & Test Plans for civil, mechanical, and piping scopes.

Scope: hold points, witness/review levels, code cross-referencing
03

Technical Query Response

Drafting formal, code-referenced responses to project TQs — hydrostatic test parameters, material substitutions, procedure clarifications.

Scope: TQ drafting, technical justification, standard citation
04

Compliance & Risk Screening

Corrosion and integrity risk screening aligned to API 570/580/581 methodology, supporting inspection interval planning.

Scope: risk-based inspection inputs, screening reports
05

Document Control Support

Structuring and formatting of engineering deliverables for contractor and operator submission workflows.

Scope: MDR alignment, revision tracking, submission packages
06

Site & Offshore Coordination

Liaison support between engineering, QC, and field inspection teams on active offshore project sites.

Scope: query tracking, findings closeout, inspection coordination
Representative Work

Scopes we've delivered, by type.

Project names and client details are withheld under standard confidentiality terms — scope categories reflect the kind of work we take on.

Offshore

Technical Query Response — Hydrostatic Testing

Formal company response to a hydrostatic test pressure query for an offshore package, referencing ASME code basis and project specification.

NDE

NDE Procedure Gap Analysis

Line-by-line review of LPI and UT procedures for a thermal relief valve scope, benchmarked against ADNOC AGES specifications.

SECTOR: Oil & GasDELIVERABLE: Gap Report
Civil

Civil Works ITP Review

Compliance and internal-consistency review of an Inspection & Test Plan covering civil works scope on an active offshore project.

Engagement Process

A four-step review cycle.

Every deliverable moves through the same discipline, regardless of scope size.

STEP 01

Intake

Scope and documents received — procedure, ITP, or TQ package — with applicable code basis confirmed.

STEP 02

Gap Review

Line-by-line comparison against AGES, ASME, API, or ASTM requirements, with findings logged.

STEP 03

Response Drafting

Technical response or revised document prepared, with each position traceable to a code clause.

STEP 04

Handover

Final deliverable issued for contractor or client submission, with a closeout summary attached.

Contact

Start a scope discussion.

Send project details or a document for review — a member of the team will follow up with a scoping response.
